What are the worst, weirdest (or so bad it's good) genre fusions yall have ever encountered? I still maintain rap country is the actual worst but I am waiting to find a black metal funk fusion. Please provide links if possible.

Apologies to any country rap afficianados out there.

    I like most weird fusions.

Redneck rap is bad. I don't not understand it. I get why people of a very specific demographic enjoy it. Some people enjoy huffing paint. There's certainly a great overlap in those two communities.

The guys that rent the band room next to us are in to that..... anytime they're there, I feel like I should be buying stock in Krylon.

Im not a purist by any means but I do hate when people try to fuse Bluegrass with anything...

John Lydon absolutely hates the oxymoron sub-genre & I'd have to agree with him.
    However, I'm enamored with Charli.

I was in a punk folk group once. At least that's what we called it.

I like the idea of pirate metal. I've just never liked the idea of a band's entire work being similar sounding songs about a similar subject matter. Can't they just do a couple songs about pirates, a couple about vikings, and maybe a song or two about Satan?

I've never heard it but Doo-Wop Doom Metal would be pretty bad.

Did I just create a new sub-sub genre?

    I'm guessing "Blu-Bop" = Bluegrass + Bebop.
